How to check why a payment has failed?

Learn how to find the reason for a failed payment in MAAT or Stripe.

Step 1: Log in to Your Stripe Dashboard

Step 2: Access the Customers Section

  • In the left-hand menu, click on Customers.


Step 3: Locate the Customer Profile

  • Use the search bar to find the customer you wish to update.

  • Click on the customer's name to open their profile.

Step 4: Locate the failed payment

  • Inside the Payment section, put the cursor on top of the payment status

  • Read the reason why the payment failed

Step 5: Read more details related to the failure

  • Click on the failed payment

  • Read the Recent Activity section
