How To Upload a Waiver for Students to Sign?

Learn how to upload and manage waivers for your students in MAAT.

Step-by-step Guide:


1. Access Manager Mode

  • Open the app

  • Tap on your profile icon in the bottom-right corner

  • Select “Switch to Manager”

2. Access the Academy profile

  • While in Manager Mode

  • Tap on the Academy profile icon in the bottom-right corner

  • This will open your Academy’s profile page

3. Enter in the waiver section

  • Inside your Academy profile

  • Select the Waiver button

4. Upload the waiver from your device

  • Select ‘’Upload Waiver’’

  • Choose to take a picture, upload from gallery or from file archive

5. What happens after I upload the waiver?

  • The waiver will be saved and linked to your Academy

  • Students will be required to accept it before entering your Academy

6. Can I replace or update the waiver later?

Yes.

You can return to the Waiver section at any time and upload a new version.

If you upload a new version of the waiver, all students, including those who already signed the old version, will be prompted to sign the new waiver.

  • If they are not yet in the academy on MAAT, they will be prompted to re-sign the waiver the first time they access it.

  • If they are already in the academy on MAAT, they will be prompted to re-sign the waiver when they try to book a class or buy a membership.

Note:

As the waiver is digitally signed, students will not be able to fill in the usual blank fields with personal details such as “Name,” “Date or Place of Birth,” etc.

We recommend that the waiver be worded in such a way that it constitutes approval of the content set out within it.
