How to Remove a Payment Method (Cards or Bank Accounts)

Learn how to remove a saved payment method from your MAAT account.

Step-by-step Guide:

A payment method is any way used to automatically pay for a membership at your gym. This includes debit and credit cards, bank transfers like SEPA and BACS, digital wallets like Google Pay and Apple Pay, and local payment methods such as iDEAL.

1. Open Your Profile

Tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

2. Open Billing & Payment

Scroll down to the Billing & Payment section and tap to open it.

3. Remove the Payment Method

Tap Remove Payment Method.

4. Confirm the Removal

Tap Remove to confirm.

Your payment method will then be removed from your account.

Important:

If the Remove button is greyed out or the app prevents you from deleting the payment method, it means that the card is currently linked to an active membership.

In this case, you cannot remove the card because it is being used for an active subscription.

If you want to remove the card or a Bank Account, you must first add a new payment method and set it as the active one.


Note:

The owner of a specific MAAT account is the only one who can remove a payment method.
