Open the Stripe Menu
Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner, next to your account name.
Open Business Settings
Scroll down and click Business
Select More
Click Business details.
Edit Your Public Details
Under Public details, click Edit.
Change the Statement Descriptor
Update the Statement descriptor with the name you want customers to see on their bank statement. This is usually your academy name or business name.
Click Save to confirm the new statement descriptor.
Important:
Your current statement descriptor may show a name such as Instagram, Facebook, or Google Maps.
This can happen if you added one of these websites during the Stripe account setup but did not manually enter a statement descriptor.
Changing it helps customers recognise the payment and reduces the risk of disputes.
