How To Change The Amount Of Classes In a Membership

Learn how to updatethe amount of classes connected to a membership in MAAT.

Step-by-step Guide:

You can always update the number of classes included in a membership plan at any time.

This is especially useful for gyms that offer a limited number of weekly classes (e.g. 2 per week) and structure memberships around a fixed monthly total (e.g. 8 per month). In longer months with 5 weeks, you may need to adjust the plan to account for an extra class (e.g. 9 per month).

Option 1: Update Classes Only for New Members

If you want new students to have the updated number of classes, while current members keep their existing plan, follow these steps:

1. Open Manager Mode

From the homepage, tap the profile icon in the bottom-right corner and switch to Manager Mode.

2. Access the Tools Section and find the Products Manager

Access the Tools Section and select the Products Manager

3. Delete the Old Plan

Delete the Old Plan

4. Create a New Plan with the Updated Classes

  • Tap the + Create button at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  • Select Create New Price and set the new number of classes (e.g. 5x/month)

What happens next?

  • Existing members keep their current plan (e.g. 4x/month)

  • New members will only see the updated plan (e.g. 5x/month)

  • New members won’t see the previous version of the plan

Option 2: Update Classes for All Members (Including Current Ones)

If you want all members to move to the updated number of classes, follow the same steps above.

After creating the new plan, contact MAAT Support

We will bulk migrate all members from the old plan to the new one.

What happens next?

  • All members will be moved to the new plan (e.g. 5x/month)

  • No action is required from members

  • Future renewals will follow the updated class limit

Note:

  • You don’t need to wait for the migration to delete the old plan.
You can delete it immediately so new members start purchasing the updated plan right away.
